Here at Expertrees, we strive to demonstrate good sustainable practice and commitment to consistently source raw materials, process, and package wood fuel so the end user has confidence in a supplied fuel which meets the governments clean air requirements.Testing is carried out to ensure the log has a moisture content of less than 25%.
Benefits of Kiln Dried Logs
Burning our logs with a low moisture content creates better fuel efficiency and reduced Co2 emissions as less fuel is required. Logs with a higher moisture content prevents the gasses in the wood from igniting, allowing them to escape unused, which creates high Co2 emissions and wastes up to 50% potential heat.
